"RAPID" SERIES : CNC LINE FOR DRILLING, MILLING, NOTCHING, MARKING, SCRIBING, SHEARING AND DISC SAWING
The close tolerance requirements and engineering specifications required for many applications can easy be addressed by the new "RAPID" high-speed angle drilling lines.
FICEP "RAPID" series lines are unique CNC multiple process work cells, where a profile enters as a stock length and exits as a complete part, after a combination of programmed processes such as Driiling, Milling, Notching, Marking, Scribing, Shearing and Disc Sawing.
The exceptional productivity is achieved with Sub-Axis spindle positioning that is capable to process offset holes in both legs simultaneously. This unique design makes the "RAPID" an economical and productive solution even on the largest of angles.
These modular lines can have different configurations, both in terms of size and capacity, to address the various fabrication needs in one single pass.
The advanced design and the robustness of the lines are providing flexibility, reliability, simplicity in use allowing at the same time high precision with minimum loss of material.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
DIRECT DRIVE DRILLING UNITS : High-Speed Drilling Units equipped with powerful direct-drive spindle, having CNC controlled ball-screw and servo-motor feeding system.
AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER : The drill units are equipped with three (3) or six (6) positions automatic tool-changer system for quick tool replacement.
SPINDLE SUB-AXIS POSITIONING : Each spindle can be equipped with a 200 mm extra stroke on the X Axis to perform milling operations and slotting in any direction.
SHEARING UNIT : Single cut shear with special hold-down systems for utmost shearing precision. All shearing blades are manufactured internally to guarantee best quality and longer tool life.
CIRCULAR SAWING : One disc saw for 90º angle cutting is available as standard or as alternative to the shearing unit.
MARKING UNIT : Marking of pieces is possible thanks to the rotating disc marking unit or to the classic drawer-type marking device
ANGLE HEEL MILLING : Special tool to allow milling operations on angle edge, complete with relevant tool-holder in special configuration.
FAST ANGLE FEEDING SYSTEM : high speed carriage with pincher system for fast and accurate angle feeding through the working units
BAR LENGTH DETECTION : thanks to a Laser device positioned on the infeed rollerway it is possible to exactly detect the bar length and position
IDLE ROLLS CONVEYORS : Infeed and Outfeed conveyors fitted with iddle rolls for manual profiles handling
ROTATING LOADING SYSTEM : Special system with V-shaped supports for the automatic loading of the angles onto the infeed idle rolls conveyor
CROSS TRANSFER SYSTEM : All FICEP lines can be configured with infeed and outfeed cross transfer tables to allow Automatic Loading / Unloading of bars and processed pieces
