The Raptor model, is a heavy industrial type machine capable of processing sheet plates of various dimensions and thickness. Plasma cutting, Bevel plasma cutting, OXY cutting, Drilling, Tapping, Boring, Pipe and profiles thermal cutting are the processes that the machine can operate in high level standards of accuracy and speed. 

MACHINE TECHNICAL FEATURES


The Raptor model consists of an electro-welded steel portal of high strength and low weight which guarantees precise movement of the axes and great resistance to deformations.

All the kinematics and structural elements of the Raptor model have been designed to obtain high movement speeds and maximum machining precision. Sturdy sliding beams installed on the ground and independent sheet metal support tables of massive structure guarantee the best use of the cutting surface with one or more work heads .

The portal supports the work heads by means of support plates that slide on the Y axis (short axis) by means of four recirculating ball slides along two high precision parallel prismatic guides.

The portal slides along the X axis (long axis) by means of ball bearing runners and prismatic guides positioned on both sides.

Function for detecting the position of the sheet metal when using material with an oxidized surface, painted, protected with primer or plasticized film.

Laser beam detector (Save Piercing Time) of the position of the sheet that allows precision and reduction of piercing times up to their halving (optional).

Laser pointing device for verifying the real position of the sheet on the work surface of the machine (ideal for processing large sizes) and for manually positioning the cutting head at the exact starting point of the cycle.

PLASMA CUTTING HEAD

Bevel 5-Axis 3D Plasma Cutting Head is designed and built by Becky to offer maximum strength, smaller footprint, reduced weight, complete protection of handling parts and for maximum operational flexibility allowing ± 45 ° cutting inclinations and infinite rotation

The same automatic torch height adjustment system with anti-collision used for the perpendicular cutting head guarantees precision and operational safety.

The numerically controlled automatic cutting parameters referring to the type and thickness of the material to be cut, also include for the 3D head the slowdowns, accelerations and particular trajectories that the three-dimensional cut imposes to obtain precise cuts.

Precise automatic torch height control with arc voltage reading and adjustable sensitivity anti-collision device for high quality plasma.

OXY-CUTTING TORCHES

The high quality oxy - cutting torches , powered by a system of high efficiency proportional valves controlled by numerical control, facilitate the use of this technology even for non-expert operators.

Through a complete library of cutting parameters, the numerical control is able to automatically manage gas pressures, preheating times and optimal breakthrough times to complete the entire work cycle.

The cutting height of the torches is automatically controlled by means of a capacitive system.

The torches are equipped with automatic remote or manual piezoelectric ignition.

DRILLING HEAD

Drilling head with 6 tools for holes up to a maximum diameter of 24mm, threads up to M 18 and countersinks.

Automatic tool change with rotary system provided with automatic nebulization cooling and lubrication which allows considerable liquid savings.

Powerful brushless drilling motor for maximum operating precision with automatic locking of the tool rotation in case of abnormal stress

PROFILES AND TUBES CUTTING UNIT

The rotary tube cutter for cutting round, square, rectangular tubes and profiles, driven by a brushless motor, is composed of a robust four-jaw chuck with roller locking.

The tubes are supported in length by one or more supports with manual or automatic adjustment.

The rotation of the spindle automatically synchronized with the X and Y axes of the machine is managed by the CNC and by an advanced programming software with parametric figures.

For the management of two additional axes K and H for 3D Bevel cutting, the three-dimensional version of the same programming software is offered as an option.

FUMES EXHAUST SYSTEM

The Exhaust System filters the fume generated by thermal cutting operations. The air is cleaned according to the latest Health and Safety requirements.

Extraction of fumes during pipe processing is carried out through the central section of the mandrel by means of a metal flange and a flexible pipe connected to the filter
